One of the highlights of the Presbyterian Church is that it is led by people in the congregation that have been elected to serve.

Pastors are only part of the equation.  They join Elders, Deacons, and Trustees in helping the congregation carry out the mission of the church.  Obviously, this involves a lot of team work.  How wonderful - people working together in the way of Jesus Christ.

Committees are also used to engage more of the congregation in the active life of the church.  Every member is encouraged to participate actively in all that God calls us to do.
