ANDY ODOM - PASTOR

My wife, Denise, and I arrived at First Presbyterian in August, 2003.  Ever since, I have found this place to be full of genuine and faithful people.  Bartlesville is simply a wonderful community to live in.  As pastor, my primary task is to help everyone who enters our doors to see themselves as children of God and to live out that truth God has given them in Jesus Christ.  I must admit, I love being a pastor.  I love it because it means being heavily involved with other people and helping them to see themselves as God sees them.  I also love being a husband and father, which is how I spend a great deal of my off time.  Denise and I have two daughters we adore.  We also have a love for the mountains and try to get out into God's country whenever we can.

KRISTY RODGERS - CHILDREN'S MINISTRIES

It is a joy and a privilege to be working with the children here at FPC.  I have a heart for sharing the Bible with kids and hope to help them learn to love God by understanding His Word.  To that end, I coordinate Sunday School, Wednesday night activities, Time with Children, and VBS.  My husband John and I have three amazing sons:  Keenan, a 20 year old Junior at OU; Taylor, our 15 year old musician; and Aaron, our 13 year old resident wit and scholar.  All bless us daily.

MATTHEW REED - CONTEMPORARY WORSHIP & YOUTH

I have the distinct priviledge of working in the two areas I am most passionate about:  contemporary worship and youth.  I found Jesus Christ through worship music, and I want to help others find Him in the same manner.  My responsibilities on that end are song selection (and expanding our catalog), recruiting and maintaining members or our amazing worship team, and leading worship on Sunday mornings at our 9:00 Contemporary Service.  My other great passion is for helping young people find Christ, and impressing upon them the importance and relevance of living into our faith even at, and truthfully especially at, their age.  My responsibilities on the youth end are to develop and maintain Sunday School and Bible Study curricula, plan and run fun fellowship activities, help engage youth in service projects, and generally love and nurture the amazing young people of this church.  I feel very blessed to have been called to this congregation, and I am excited to see the ways Christ will move in the lives of our individual members, as well as in the life of our church as a whole.

KATHY STEWART - TRADITIONAL MUSIC

My responsibilities include coordinating the music for the 11:00 a.m. service, conducting the Chancel Choir, arranging special worship events such as Mozart Sunday, Reformation Sunday, Christmas Eve, and Easter, and lining up appropriate musicians to play for these events.  I work with the organist/handbell director on music selection and help oversee the music for Wednesday's ROCK.  I am blessed to be able to use my abilities in music to serve God and this church!  I am happily married to my musical husband, Mark Beckwith, and we have one very special daughter, Megan, 3 dogs, and 1 cat.

DAVID PETTIT - ORGANIST

David Pettit is an accomplished organist, composer, church musician, and educator.  In a career spanning over twenty five years, he has appeared throughout the United States mainland and Hawaii, the United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, China, and the West Indies.  As the son of a United Methodist minister, David has been associated with church music all his life.  Presently, David has joined the Sales and Marketing team at Saied Music in Tulsa, where he will be the Steinway Piano Manager at a new Tulsa location, as well as being the Rodgers Organ Representative for NE Oklahoma and NW Arkansas.

RACHEL BECKER - FIRST FRIENDS DIRECTOR

I really enjoy working at First Friends!  What a blessing to watch these beautiful children grow, learn, and develop!  They see the beauty of creation everywhere, find joy in the smallest things, and their smiles and laughter brighten each day.  My responsibilities include working with the teachers in planning activities and curriculum that emphasize our belief in Christ, keeping things safe and clean, caring for our FF families, and loving their children.  My husband, John, and I have two sons.  We enjoy spending family time together watching our boys play sports and camping.

FLORA MAE ROSZEL - BUSINESS ADMINISTRATOR/BOOKKEEPER

My responsibilities include making sure our building and grounds are maintained; analyzing and reporting financial data; tracking our mission commitments; and supporting the staff, officers, and members of our church so that they can serve God to the best of their abilities.  I've worked at FPC since 1985 and have been a member since 1986.  I am married to my best friend, Doug, and have 2 adult children and 4 grandchildren.

WENDY WICKHAM - CHURCH SECRETARY

I have been employed at First Presbyterian Church since 1997.  I am secretary to the two Pastors and the Music Department Personnel.  Two of my biggest jobs are maintaining all membership records and publishing The Banner and Sunday bulletins.  My spare time is spent with my two adult sons, Jeremy and Terrance, being involved in the family hobby - Micro Sprint Racing.

RITA RAINES - SECRETARY

As Secretary to the Director of Youth and Director of Children's Ministries, my responsibilites cover a wide range of tasks needed to assist with planning and implementation of activities for the various youth and children's groups.  The youth will one day be the leaders of our church and community.  The interest we spark in them now will pave their hope for the future.  We should not let them forget that they are special in God's eyes and ours! Being born and raised here, Bartlesville is a special place for me.  I have been married to my husband Ron for 34 years.  We have two grown children, and a large extended family.

ERNEST EDWARDS - HEAD CUSTODIAN

It is a joy to work and to associate with all the christian people here at First Presbyterian Church.  Actually, it's been a blessing to me.  I love to read, excercise, and worship the Lord Jesus Christ.  I am married to a wonderful woman, Sandra.

PHILLIP CAIN - EVENING CUSTODIAN

I started employment at FPC in October, 2006.  I am a member of the Bible Church of Bartlesville.  When I'm not working I'm either reading, drawing cartoons, renting DVD's, walking, or going to the movies.
