First Presbyterian is going to Dwight! Come for a weekend together away from it all.

Here is a glimpse of what we will be doing:

Worship: Sit under the stars for evening vespers with music & prayer.

Play: Swim in the river. Play Frisbee. Activities planned for kids. Enjoy

Saturday evening entertainment.

Work: Help spruce up Dwight on Saturday morning.

Relax: Take a nap. Meditate in the labyrinth. Enjoy the solitude.

CURSILLO RENEWAL WEEKEND

October 6-10

Presbyterian Cursillo is a three-day faith renewal event designed to forster and support an individuals's long-term commitment to living the Christian life. Led by presbyterian lay members and clergy of the Presbyterian Church (USA), its sole purpose is to inspire, challenge, and equip local church members for Christian action in their homes, churches, and communities.

REBUILDING STUDY GROUP

It's been said that every experience in life gives you either tools or baggage.  If you have suffered the loss of a significant relationship through divorce and would like to trade your baggage for tools, join us for:  Rebuilding:  When Your Relationship Ends, a book study/discussion group, beginning Wednesday, September 15th.  We will meet in Room 105 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. for 12 weeks.  Cost is $18 for the book.  Contact Kristy Rodgers for more information, or sign-up in the church office.
