Each year, First Church travels to a place called Dwight Mission, a camp sponsored by the Presbyterian Church, to help them prepare the buildings and grounds for the season opening.  This wonderful weekend of fellowship and work takes place in the beautiful secluded setting in Vian, Oklahoma.

Another annual trip the church makes is to Piedras Negras, Mexico, which is just across the border from Eagle Pass, Texas.  There we spend a week with Constructores Para Cristo to build a home for a Christian family in Mexico that is in need of assistance.
