We welcome you to worship with us through the fellowship of our body of Christ. Just as each body is a wonderful collection of different and necessary parts, we want you to become a part of our family. We are so excited you are interested in learning more about us. When you visit the church, we hope you discover what we already know, and that is that the Spirit of God is doing amazing things at First Presbyterian Church. From all kinds of vibrant ministries to eye-opening Biblical discoveries to some of the most caring people you will ever meet, First Presbyterian Church is the place for you. If you are interested in exploring membership here at First Presbyterian Church, please talk with any of our ushers, or our Pastor, Hanna Peterson-Shearer, following worship on Sunday morning. You may also give Pastor Hanna a call during the week, as she will be happy to respond to any questions you may have. You are welcome to attend church and any of our functions before becoming a member. We hope that you will want to become a part of the FPC family. See you soon!

Music

Traditional

Chancel Choir

This dedicated group meets every Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. for rehearsal. We sing a variety of styles from gospel to contemporary and classical.  Every Sunday, we offer a message in music at the 11:00 a.m. service.  All are welcome to join this fun group of musicians!

Kirk Bell Ringers

Bartlesville’s premiere bell choir.  We play a 5 octave set of Malmark bells and chimes, and offer music several times during the year.  We also play concerts around the community and during the OK Mozart festival.  Interested?

Mozart Festival Choir

Made up primarily of our own Chancel Choir, but joined by members of the community who enjoy singing a major classical work with orchestra. We meet several months prior to the festival, including several Saturdays.

Instrumentalists

We are joined by instrumentalists several times during the year.  If you play an instrument and would like to enhance the service, come join us.

Contemporary

Contemporary Worship Team

The Contemporary Worship Team leads the worship and song at our Contemporary Service.  We sing all kinds of music and are constantly learning new songs to enhance worship on Sunday.  If you have a musical gift, whether you play an instrument or your voice is your instrument, come join our team.

"Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song! Psalm 95: 1-2"
